Today is February 1st. That means we will be flying to Salt Lake City in exactly 23 days. Holy Cow, where did the time go? We are SO not ready. Time to make more lists and start checking them twice. Every hour of every day counts from here on out.
I like the books =) --they remind me of the bookcases down the hallway all those years ago...I do miss having REAL books all around my house!
I hope we'll get to see you some extra time this week. I'm thinking of taking Friday off so I can have some "Mom & Pop" time all to myself. I have to admit I'm already missing you. I know we don't talk that often--usually because I don't want to worry you--but just knowing you're "only" 12 hours away is always a comfort. Now you won't be...but such is life with missionary-minded parents!
That would be wonderful. We can talk about it Tuesday. Meantime, please pray (with me) that the Lord will continue to temper the weather in our behalf. He's already changed the Tuesday forecast from snow to partly-cloudy. I need the roads to be dry so we aren't afraid to drive, especially in someone else's car! We have to deliver something to one of our Ecuador missionaries in Provo at 9:00 Tuesday night and I REALLY don't want to do it if the roads are icy. See you soon.
