The temple

Here is a picture of the temple in Cochabamba, Bolivia where we will be serving.  Isn't it beautiful?

Of course we will post first-person pictures when we get there, but in the meantime I have this as the wallpaper on our laptop so I can look at it and try to get used to the idea that we really will BE there in a few more weeks.

Beginning our blog

Okay, so I'm trying to set up a blog here that our friends and family can check whenever they/you want to know what we're doing in Bolivia.  May I just say that Google is NOT as user-friendly as I've been told it was. 

Anyway, today is January 24 and our last day in California is one month away: February 24th.  We are not ready.  Does that surprise you?  And why, I wonder, do so many things suddenly need to be repaired around the house (and the car) in the last 30 days before we leave town?  I suppose it's another instance of "there must needs be opposition in all things" - or irony - or something.  Enough for today.  This is just to work my way through the process and see if I can actually create something worth looking at.
